The Carpenter’s Workshop is uniquely designed to help build healthy marriages and families in the following ways.

BIBLICAL
The instruction provided is based on God’s Word as revealed in the Scriptures.

PREVENTIVE
One of the most important and unique aspects is that the training for each workshop is offered preventively. It is true that “it is easier to build a child than repair an adult.” As each stage is entered with preparation and skill participants experience healthy growth and development at that stage. They will then move into successive stages with strength instead of weakness and reproduce success instead of failure.

RESTORATIVE
The Carpenter’s Workshop is most effective when used preventively but it can also be very helpful when used restoratively. Many have entered stages without preparation and have not known success and health. By returning to stages they have missed they can repair and recapture what was broken or lost in their marriages and families. As each successive stage is then entered preventively they can continue to build success as well as pass on a legacy of health to their children.
